Coors Field

Many people think of downtown Denver as a place to pass through, but there are many hidden gems in this city that we call home. The Coors Field neighborhood is one of those gems, offering up some incredible food and drinks right outside the stadium gates. Here’s a list of some of our favorite spots to grab a pre or post-game drink before heading into the park:

  1. Osteria Marco

Right next to the ballpark at 2105 Larimer St., Osteria offers up delicious pasta and pizzas while also boasting an extensive Italian beer menu with selections from all over Italy and beyond. Blue Moon Brewing Company – If you’re looking for a place to grab a cold local brew, look no further than Blue Moon Brewing Company located at 2191 Blake St. (located behind the Right field wall). Not only will you find a large selection of Blue Moon’s flagship and seasonal beers, but also special brews made exclusively for Coors Field! Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen – This Larimer St. staple is not only known for its incredible food (the duck fat fries are to die for), but Euclid Hall boasts an impressive list of craft beers from around Colorado as well as a fantastic cocktail menu. Lucky Pie Pizza & Taphouse – With 3 locations in Denver, Luckypie is a great place to grab some pre or post-game eats. They feature local breweries on tap along with their own house-brewed beer which they call “Uncle Rick’s.”

They also have a fantastic selection of Colorado wines. ViewHouse Eatery, Bar & Rooftop – If you want to catch some sun while watching the game, make your way over to the ViewHouse located at 2015 Market St. They offer up great views of the Rocky Mountains along with an extensive food and drink menu that will surely leave you satisfied. Lodo’s Bar and Grill – A Denver institution for years, Lodo’s is a great place to go for good times and good food. Located just under Coors Field at 1539 20th St., they boast 75 beers on tap (including many local favorites) as well as tasty burgers, sandwiches and salads. The Thin Man – Wanting to grab a lighter fare pre or post-game? The Thin Man at 2015 Wynkoop St. offers up delicious sandwiches, salads and small plates to whet your appetite before a Rockies’ win!

  1. Buying Tickets

If you’re still looking for tickets to the game, there are several options available to you. Single-game tickets go on sale April 6th, but if you want to guarantee that you’ll have your spot in the stadium you can purchase season ticket packages today which include added benefits like access to the Coors Clubhouse presented by Miller Lite (high-end food and drinks) before select games as well as other exclusive events throughout the year. If that’s not enough for you, Rocky Mountain Hospitality also offers special rates on luxury suites and group tickets which can be tailored to your specific needs.

  1. Getting There/Getting In

No matter how you decide to get to the game, there’s plenty of options for you! If you’re looking to drive in the ballpark parking is available on the streets surrounding Coors Field for $20 cash only. You can also park at one of several nearby garages like the Auraria Campus Garage, LoDo Garage and Theater District Parking. Another option would be taking an RTD bus or light train, both drop off within walking distance of Coors Field. Once at the ballpark make sure to stay inside from 2 hours before first pitch until 1 hour after the last out as part of Fan Safety Awareness Week happening this year at Rockies’ home games.

  1. Driving Around
